Brrrrr

We made it here (to Washington) on Thursday afternoon. It is cold...20's but no snow (yet).

I had a nice visit with Katie,Derek and Madison yesterday and we went to our favorite lunch spot Red Robin.Did some shopping afterwards and I got to see their Christmas tree and house decorations. Some of them date back to when Katie was a baby and brought back memories of her tiny hands grabbing at ornaments on the tree.

Madison surprised me with pierced ears!! She said she didnt even cry. Some bad news however...she is not allowed to watch any movies or cartoons FOR A YEAR (she said) because she lied about cleaning her room. Actually Katie told me the restriction is only a week...probably seems like a year to Maddy. Pictures later...
